Mrgud Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 I don't know if anyone has metioned this before, but I would really like that the runways in the future DCS Worlds wouldn't be so even on the ground but that they follow terrain countour (like in real life and the X Plane). In my opinion, it would boost immersion level even more. What do you think?
Grimes Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 On the Black Sea map its already implemented, though not on all runways (the old ones). I believe it is most noticeable on Senaki and Soganlug. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Mrgud Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 I haven't noticed that. I'll pay attention to that detail on the runways that you mentioned. Thanks!
cro_mig_21 Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I agree...I even think this feature is essential for the imersion factor. And yes, Soganlug has an upward slope while Senaki has the downward slope..beginning of the runway is at 14 meters above sea level while the end is at 13. :)
