Hi Folks,

New around here - been thinking of giving up my beloved 4:3 monitors for a wide screen to get more peripheral vision in DCS...

I was thinking about trying this ASUS product with a - really - wide aspect ratio... Has anyone tried this model and does it work well with DCS ? I'm sticking to a single monitor solution but I want one that works well with DCS - any thoughts or suggestions ?

My current specs:

Im using the Asus PB287Q which is a 28" 4k monitor. It works well, but frame rates can be a bit all over the place even with 2x970 in SLI. 120 fps one moment, less than 30 depending what's going on. I'd consider at least one right now for 2560x1080. Maybe even for 1.5 as I dont think the 570 is a DX11 card, but time will tell on future performance.
