About to buy a new GTX, but not sure what to buy

Ah, I wish it would, but as far as I know, they have to be identical cards for SLI. :\

 

Great card, but unfortunately out of my budget in my country. :\

 

Now, I'm looking for the differences between regular 970 and 970G1...

 

The Gigabyte card has a much better cooler and an extremely sexy illuminated logo for starters. I've almost bought the GTX 980 G1 gaming several times now. Been holding out for EDGE as my 680sc is still hanging in there pretty well.

I'm running 2 GTX 980's which is overkill but at least I can finally max all the settings without so much as a hiccup. :)

Hi guys.

 

Last week, I've found myself in computer store. An opportunity was happened and I wanted to buy that graphics card. Immediately I visited this thread, also other pages.

 

My options were Asus, Msi and Zotac for GTX-970, and I've purchased MSI one after a bunch of internet readings, comparings, YouTube videos etc.

 

There's an absolute performance improve of course. DCS World is very smooth, even on Las Vegas, without GPU or CPU overclock. :) But I didn't test it in crowd server.
