Lobinjaevel Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 (edited) I will build my multi role cockpit inspired by the Gripen, so here are some templates for the side consoles, inspired by the Gripen. Disclaimer! I've based these on pictures and Dzus standard, BUT converted to metric, I will make a imperial version later on! I'm not 100% sure that the Gripen uses Dzus standard panels, but it looks correct from my own comparisons. So everthing is in millimeters, according to this exellent guide: http://mycockpit.org/tutorials/Panelbuildingfocussedondimensions.pdf Note that the lower panel assemblies aren't full lenght to the rear, and the right lower panel doesn't have correct "Dzus lenght" yet on all the panels, the rest of it is fairly accurate. I will make my own panels based on these templates, will share that too when I've decided on what I need and so on. Remember, these are very much work in progress! Things to do: -correct length on panel assemblies and fine tuning. -add my own designed panels -build the consoles when I've figured out the angles and such -imperial version -correct Dzus fastener positions Will probably not make correct Gripen panels since I don't have the measurement for the switch positions on those, so 100% accuracy won't be possible. Enjoy, feel free to use them as you like, don't claim them as your own though! Cheers RobinGripen panels.rar Edited August 9, 2015 by Lobinjaevel
