Defective CH Pro Throttle - Anyone else returned/repaired one?

The crucial piece of my HOTAS rig, the CH Pro Throttle, seems to be on the way out. The throttle axis input number jumps around, causing all kinds of crazy input in games (especially in the P-51, with all the torque and P-factor.)

 

It's still under warranty, so I'll be returning it for repairs. Have any of you done this, and, if so, what was the process? How long did it take?

 

Failing this, may this be something I could repair on my own?

Sounds like a fault potentiometer.

 

If still under warranty contact the manufacturer, if you are in USA this should work.
