RFQ - 3D orientation pit

Hey folks. So i have enough of a pit to not need the in-game cockpit rendered. I fly 99.9% of the time in world only view with trackir.

 

What that lacks is good orientation refernces. Other than the hud its difficult to tell wings level etc.

 

I would like a vie which is mostly like world only, but show references. Ideally a wireframe plane, but even a simple sphere like the trackir calibration view would do.

 

Further ideal I would like to be able to access this view and the full 3d pit without changing models.

 

I have tried the pit where the internals are removed but it is corny and glitchy.

 

A) are my two ideals possible?
