Repairs and refuel during campaign missions

If you get repairs and refuel/weapons during campaign missions - are they automatic mission failure.

 

I don't seem to get failed or success message - keeps on going.

 

Sometimes in refueling - i get a snarky comment from ground like "hey what are you doing".

Repairs and refuelling have no bearing on the success or failure of campaign missions.

 

In terms of the snarky comments, they only occur if you try to take off before the completion of refueling/rearming or if you are still receiving ground electrical power.
