What I'm trying to achieve is to get a soldier to walk up to a parked aircraft, stop for a period of time to simulate the soldier talking to the pilot and then walking off.

I've tried placing a very small trigger zone around the aircraft and then using "unit in zone" to trigger a flag as true that the soldier uses as a waypoint command to hold. I then use a "time-since-flag" to set a second flag to "true" to trigger the stop condition for the hold command.

Problem is, this doesn't work. The solider marches up to the aircraft, turns around and wanders off to his final waypoint.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Is there a simpler way to achieve this?

Put a waypoint for the trooper at the aircraft. Use an Advanced Waypoint Action to Hold. Include a Stop Condition with a Duration for the time you want the guy to stop for.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I'll give them a try to see what works & report back.
