Azazel Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Not sure where to post this because of the various fixes but here are the fixes I have had to make so far. After doing a clean install of the DCS and the 1.5 Beta I got a failure to launch .exe from the beta: MSVCR120.dll not found and then MSVCP120.dll. I downloaded and fixed them: put the widgets in the System32 file of Windows file. The beta then ran but my graphics cards were not working in SLI (just the one). Fixed that by messing with settings using Nvidia inspector (not really sure what was the trick was but 1.5 wasn't recognizing I had and SLI setup: more than just the R-ALT + Enter fix was required. My current problem is that the clouds are dancing, flickering. I set everything to 60 fps Vsnc but still have some flickering going on (clouds most notable). Everything else seems to run extremely well and smooth so far. My specs: 2xEVGA 480s SLI, EVGA x58 Classified SLI Mobo, i7 960 CPU, Track IR 5 Pro. My Rig: EVGA GTX 1070 x 2 | EVGA x58 SLI classified | i7 X 990 CPU | 24 GB RAM | Windows 10 Home 64 bit| Track IR Pro | CH Fighter Stick | CH Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
nomdeplume Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 If you find you're missing MSVC DLL files, it'd be better to install the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable rather than downloading DLL files from some website. The MSVCR120.dll etc. are provided by the Visual C++ 2013 runtime. (You should only require the x64 version for DCS, since it's now only a 64-bit program.)
