Sooo whenever I uncage the sight, I have a problem with aiming.

The sight goes off the display glass panel whenever I make even a slight movement and it is very difficult to estimate where it is, which leads to many missed shots.

I've found similar issue with the F86, but there its managable.

I play with G force head movement enabled btw, so I can imagine that adding a bit to the overall problem, but even with it off, the sight still goes way off.

Anyone care to share their ways of dealing with this slight problem?

You can lean forward close to the gunsight. Press 'Q' to line up your view axis with the sight, then press RShift+RCtrl+* to move forward in the cockpit. This'll give you a better view through the sight than simply zooming in using the * key.

This helps when using the gunsights in the Fw-190 and Bf-109 as well.

I find most of the gyro gunsights just about useless :) I only use the gyro sight in the F-86, because it has automatic radar rangefinding. Trying to guess the range to target and dial in the sight settings manually while maneuvering in combat is a total joke; the real pilots of these aircraft often felt the same and used only the fixed sight. Those manual gyro sights were *very* expensive and hardly ever got used, so there were lots of pristine examples around! The F-86 one is handy though, it does the work for you.

Peace and happy warfare!
