empeck Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I have three monitors (1920x1200 each) and I use 6000x1200 resolution (2x120 pixels for bezel correction) with Nvidia Surround. In any other game when I choose 6000x1200 resolution the 3d world is rendered with bezel correction, DCS doesn't do that, but it expands the rendered world beyond right edge of the right monitor instead, it does the same with the menu (it's also hidden beyond the right edge of the screens).
Polo Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 If I was to hazard a guess you are running windows in a non-bezel corrected resolution (i.e. 5760x1200) rather than 6000x1200. Hit Alt+Enter (try Left Alt and if nothing happens then Right Alt) to actually force DCS to go into full screen mode and see what happens. Note that you may have 'full screen' selected in the options menu but you still need to hit alt+enter to actually enter full screen mode. No, in 5760x1200 the menu on the right is fully visible, in 6000x1200 it's hidden behind right edge of the screen. Hit Alt+Enter (try Left Alt and if nothing happens then Right Alt) to actually force DCS to go into full screen mode and see what happens. Note that you may have 'full screen' selected in the options menu but you still need to hit alt+enter to actually enter full screen mode. It did toggled fullscreen and window, but I don't have bezel correction mode either way.
Johnny Dioxin Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 (edited) I had a similar problem, using 4 monitors = 3xnVidia surround and 1x instrument exports. My bezel-corrected resolution is 5888x1080 and that was what i used and got the overlap issue. The way I got around it was to set DCS World to the uncorrected resolution, whilst keeping windows set to the corrected res. i.e.: windows/nVidia surround at 5888x1080 DCS World at 5760x1080 Worked well for me. To make sure the GUI remains on the centre monitor, I set it one stage lower in res - 1680x1050. That works well, too: Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 5760; height = 1080; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 5.45; } } UIMainView = { x = 2140; y = 0; width = 1680; height = 1050; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.6; } GUI = UIMainView The reason I use a starting position of 2140 is because of the "warping" you get when putting a 5760 wide picture into 5888 of space (if that makes sense to you). PS - forgot - I had to use windowed mode, too, as fullscreen gave me problems. empeck Posted October 6, 2015 Author Posted October 6, 2015 Unfortunately it didn't worked for me. If I use 'GUI = ...' in LUA then the interface is squeezed like this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=148111 If I use either 6000x1200 or 5760x1200 or a mix of both in LUA and in the options, in fullscreen or windowed I can't make the bezel correction work.
