Other aircraft's contrails go in and out of sight dependent on my viewing angle

When looking at these high-altitude contrails from "the corner of my eye", I can see them just fine. See first screenshot attached.

 

However, when moving my head using TrackIR to directly look at those contrails, they disappear from view fully. See second screenshot attached.

 

When moving my head to the right again, the contrail comes into view once more. See third screenshot attached.

I have the same with all objects when at a treshold. I say: Up the distance even more for seeing any object and you will have a 5x better sim. The rest is awesome, really. It just all falls to pieces with this 1 setting.

Just saying - my view distance is maxed out in the sim; I believe this is a bug or a glitch that is affected by the viewing angle from a user to a distant object.

I didn't take any screenshots of this - but here's a description of another such instance where this seems to happen (Hotfix 3):

 

- I was flying and I observed my wingman ejecting after being hit by AAA; the parachute was visible just fine looking at him from my 11 o'clock position using TrackIR

 

- Once the parachute drifted by my roughly 9 o'clock position, it was gone from view while still trying to to follow it with TrackIR movements

 

- A little later I saw the parachute again, after I was flying in from a different direction

 

So yes, this seems to be a bug or a glitch which seems to render certain objects at certain distances no longer visible when looking at these objects from certain angles.

 

Would be nice if this could be brought to the attention of the ED devs...
