Scoggs Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) So I am noticing an FPS drop while firing the GAU-8. To show this, I used Easy - East Georgia - Spring Instant Action mission. I took a series of screenshots as I held down the trigger (or in this case the A button because my warthog is a pain to set up). As I continued firing the fps continued to drop as most of the bullets were still in the air due to where I was firing. As the rounds start landing (I would assume that is) the FPS gradually increases to the initial FPS. It takes on average 20-30 seconds after last round when shooting into the air like this. Unfortunately I did not document this part. Images contained in Spoiler Before firing Firing with subsequent FPS drop. I did not stop shooting until empty While I don't think this can be fixed because the CPU is probably being bogged down tracking the bullets trajectory (and an extreme case scenario), I figured I would post this anyways. I think it should be tested on a server as well to see if it effects clients.
