TheBiggerBass Posted Saturday at 10:37 AM Posted Saturday at 10:37 AM (edited) As I didn't pay much attention yet to lieveries and skins I'm struggeling where there is the appropriate storage location for aircraft custom liveries. I found several potential locations: Saved Games\DCS\Liveries Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\<aircraft name> Saved Games\DCS\mods\<aircraft name>\Liveries DCS World\Bazar DCS World\Bazar\<aircraft name> DCS World\Mods\aircraft\<aircraft name>\Liveries DCS World\Core Mods\aircraft\<aircraft name>\Liveries ... and there may be even other locations I didn't find yet. I have no clue where to store which livery and would appreciate some guidance. But what are the other folder locations intented for? Are they still in use? aceviper Posted Monday at 12:56 PM Posted Monday at 12:56 PM (edited) First option is folder containing second correct option. And liveries are arranged into aircraft name.....otherwise they wont show in game. Last 4 options are the official installation. Best practice is to use savedgames...windows prefers it that way. In saying that I have liveries in the coremods (bottom)option. Some skin makers have made it their preferable way. Check install instructions. If you have to reinstall DCS those will not come back. In a clean-up command situation you will have the option to remove or keep all non official files including skins. Best practice is to keep your install clean and official.
