Hi all

Just bought and paid for the new "Republic " campaign for BS2 and need help.

Downloaded and installed via module manager...copied the key to clipboard.

Tried to start the campaign and the activation window pops up.

Pasted the key from module manager and activated. So far so good.

Click start on the campaign screen and get "This mission requires activation":helpsmilie:

Fixed by removing dxgi.dll from the bin folder.Part of sweetfx reshade.

Neither of the 2 DLC campaigns would work while the offending file was there.

Hi,

Thanks for that fix, that solved the issue, kinda'. How did you ever isolate this item to solve your problem?

I had already installed the Republic Campaign and played with it, but that was prior to installing the SweetFX Reshade beta. I went to play with the campaign and got the same message you have in quotes.

I removed the dxgi.dll from the 1.5 DCS World OpenBeta's bin subdirectory and stashed it to my Recycle Bin, afterwards returning same item where I retrieved it because the Reshade program needs it.

I use Reshade and dxgi.dll is necessary for it to function. Reshade will not work for me running this campaign.

This "fix" is a workaround, the activation issue still needs to be fixed.

Thanks.

Is there any chance this problem will be solved?

I really like SweetFX and would probably not have bought the campaign if I knew that before.
