Tumbleweed Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I've just tried playing the Georgian Oil War campaign in DCS 1.5 and had to give up. I've no idea why but it's like playing at 2 frames per second from take off. It clears up a bit on the way to waypoint 2 and then goes back into super lag. All my inputs are delayed and its horrible to play like this. No other problems anywhere else i.e. instant action, building my own missions, other aircraft etc. Just this lag fest with the Georgia campaign. Does anyone have any suggestions? M1Combat Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 You might try turning off civ traffic if there's a lot of it? Nvidia RTX3080 (HP Reverb), AMD 3800x Asus Prime X570P, 64GB G-Skill RipJaw 3600 Saitek X-65F and Fanatec Club-Sport Pedals (Using VJoy and Gremlin to remap Throttle and Clutch into a Rudder axis)
TheSnark Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Do you have mirrors turned on? They are killing in 1.5 performance wise for me. Do you have the same lag problems in 1.2?
Tumbleweed Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) Thanks both. I've not had much time to play the campaign since but I'll check out those settings and see if they help. Edited to add: Civ traffic was at high. Turned it off completely and it has improved a lot. Thanks!
