ebabil Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 i am triying to make a air refuel practise. tanker triying to give fuel at about 247 kts. but after i slow down at this speed, plane gets speed even throttle at iddle. so the only option i have is to use airbrake. but it is not useful while aar, because it is not that sensitive. is there a problem my throttle?why this plane gains speed even no throttle and level flight. isn't it suppose to lose speed once i get the throtlle iddle? Exorcet Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Somewhere on this forum, someone posted AAR tanker speeds for different aircraft. I think for the F-15, tanker speed was over 300 knots. As far as throttle, press Rctrl + Enter to bring up control axes in cockpit and see if throttle goes all the way down on idle.
