zaelu Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) I once said this as a suggestion on wishlist but I am thinking very often to try to implement such thing as a mod my self. What I want is to add commands like: Ground crew ground power on Ground crew ground power off Ground crew request repair Ground crew request chokes on Ground crew request chokes off AWACS/EVR Vector to homeplate AWACS/EVR request bogey dove AWACS/EVR request picture For complex ones I think it would be better if the pages that are present in the ATC or wingman/flight menus to be separate commands Example: I want to tell my wingman to attack ground targets One single command should be: "Wingman attack ground targets" "pressing" the corresponding key for such command would without going to other radio menu just activate the menu And then we should get some commands for choosing an option number without any Function keys. I think the function keys in this "mod" should never be used. Only keyboard combinations or joystick commands. Because they create confusion depending on context. I'm thinking about this mod because if the individual commands would be assignable to keys/combos/(virtual) joystick buttons then we could very easy program voice activated commands software to create radio communications as simply and fluently as possible. Thus in above complex command we should simply "speak": "second" that would send via a VAC software the key combo for the second option. Again... no Function keys used because if the menu is not displayed and we speak second in VAC software it would just exit the cockpit to present external F2 view... or if the ATC menu is somehow displayed it will chose whatever is in that menu for F2. So... usually for activating new commands one could read available commands from clickabledata.lua files from new modules. but none have info on how to make a radio message a command then a configurable button. For example... how can this: command = sendMessage.new(Message.wMsgLeaderGroundToggleElecPower, true from Ground Crew.lua from \DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\UI\RadioCommandDialogPanel\Config\Common can be added to at least one module individually or to all in general as a command available for keyboard? Does anyone have a clue?
