Hi,

I have several recordings tracks of missions and presentations in my DCS. I'm having problems with playing them. Falling and invisible aircraft. I would like to know if there is any way to minimize it.

System Specs:

Windows 10 Pro x64, NVidia GeForce GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 Gaming 4GB, FX 8350 4.0 Ghz ( Cooled by Custom Cooler ), 8GB DDR3 1600 Mhz , ASUS M5A97 R2.0, x1 240gb ssd (Windows) x1 120gb ssd (DCS World) x1 500gb hd, Thustmaster T Flight X, CH Pro Throttle and CH Pro Pedals

Recordings aren't always compatible between different versions of DCS World, especially major updates, so older recordings are less likely to work correctly.

Edit: Track recordings in general have always been a bit hit and miss, with recordings more likely to corrupt due to multiple view changes and use of time compression. I have heard that replays work better in the beta version 1.5 but have yet to verify this myself.

I have that issue in all versions =/

I like to record tracks to make videos or simple check the entire flight. Maybe ED can fix that? In some games like IL-2 Series, tracks can be recorded over hours without loss

There should be improvements in 1.5 ("fixed tracks" in changelog).

And BTW, you can't compare two sims - it's irrelevant, as one would say ;)

You can ask for bug fix (which is in 1.5) and features (wishlist), but who cares if it works well in another sim? Different, code, different engine, etc :p

yeah, got the same problems... at the moment it is nearly not possible to play any track without loss... and i talk about tracks with 5min length... for example a simple landing with one jet, no time compression, no view changes... the jet is falling to ground some meters before the runway, it is landing 20 m above the runway and so on and so on... very annoying...

Well, if work well in another sims why not in DCS? ED can do that right? Just improvements :)

Features (wishlist) definetly

In that case, simply ask for a feature to work, period ;)

You can't say something like "this feature works in sim X, make it work in DCS", it doesn't make sense.

Of course a broken feature should be fixed, but how does it relate to the other sim, are they sharing the same engine?

In a technical overview, yes. In a player overview, make sense :)

Well, i hope that feature will be fixed

Yep definitely.

Maybe one day we'll have splitable and rewindable tracks too (my wishlist lol, it's rather high).
