Quantenpresbyterianer Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) Hi Pilots, I have a minor problem with the CMS switch. When pressing it down it gets stuck and wouldn't release automatically. I have to use two fingers to pull it out. Injecting some machine oil brought no improvement. I was looking for a disassembly instruction on the forums, but wasn't successful. Did anybody ever disassemble the stick and has instructions, or should i just try and hope that no springs bounce out. Sokol1_br Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Nice video, but dont show what he want, how open the grip to access the CMS HAT. :) This picture show that open the grip is not complicated, but for access the CMS is need remove the shift register PCB. http://www.simhq.com/_technology3/images/technology_174a_018.jpg Maybe is a good idea get a replacement CMS from Tm first to avoid do this disassemble twice, since is probable that the tacit membrane in central CMS click are defective - loose his coil effect - and are note possible to fix.
Quantenpresbyterianer Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 Thank you for the pic, Sokol. I guess i will follow your suggestion and try to get a replavement from TM.
