I have a dedicated server running a mission with many client slots and some AI units.

It happens very often that the aircraft a player wants to join, explodes when player joins.

It doesn´t matter if the aircraft starts from ramp cold, or in the air.

There are "kill triggers", but not for all client slots. And the MiG-21 in this video/track has no "kill trigger".

And sometimes the hangar gates won´t open. And it is not only visually closed. The aircraft gets damaged when you try to taxi through the closed gate.

I have the track of a exploding MiG-21 and a closed hangar gate. I was "lucky" to have this in direct succession.

I cannot reproduce it. It happens randomly.

I have yet to find the tracks for the mid-air explosion. But i recorded it with shadowplay.

"Glad" to read that (not really glad, but now I know I´m not alone).

And another explosion...

Ok, not to sound like an arse, but I couldn't stop Laughing at the video. Sorry but I think the GODS said YOU NO FLY TODAY!

All things aside, I've never experienced the BOOOOM on join, how ever I have seen the hanger doors not open in 104th.

For the WIN

If your desired effect on the target is making the pilot defecate his pants laughing then you can definitely achieve it with a launch like that.

Hello Eagle Dynamics,

this problem still exists in DCS 1.5.4.55584 Update 3

People get frustrated when this happens and leave the server

Could you make every aircraft immortal for a few seconds when a player enters that aircraft?

Setting it to immortal in the ME doesn´t solve the problem.

edit: in the server Mission are 500+ Units and approx. 160 client slots
