Hey ED, I have some ideas for the avi tool in lock on..

I hope you guys consider it when/if you'll start working on the AVI tool:

 

-Add the ability to create a list of track's parts to convert in AVI (also from different track files... something like ADD TO RENDER LIST button....

 

-Add a "Turn off computer when finished".

 

-Add "No Audio" option.

 

-Add some template settings for all the AVI options (something like: PAL tv, Multimedia medium quality, Multimedia High quality, HD Television.... and others... ) with the ability to customize any setting starting from a templateand save it as new custom template (as in Vegas).

 

-Add a "select disk and folder" for AVI file.

 

-Add a "fixed proportion" feature, we only choose the size of one side and we select if 4:3 or 16:9.

 

-Add the ability to use networked computer for rendering or create a faster rendering engine... this one is really slow..

And advanced working with tracks, some kind of selection tool, so you won't need to render whole track.

you already can select the start and stop time in the track ;-)

 

 

Another feature I forgot.. use seconds instead of dd:HH:mm:ss... easier to select the time from the mission clock.. which is in seconds only..
