A10A Weapons Unresponsive

So I just started flying the A10A, and went to go practice my weapons. I press the 7 for a2g mode. Rockets are selected across the board, but when I attempt to fire off, the cannon comes blowing out. Tried using the Weapons Release, came for another try, still the gun blows. Why aren't the rockets firing as supposed to?

You have to press LEFT ALT + SPACE.
