Azrayen Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 (edited) Hi LN :) There now exist 4 "levels" for language setting in DCS: 1/ The DCS locale (set when installing, re-settable with edition of a config file + doing a repair) => today that is what set the Cockpit tips language (among many many other things) and I like it that way. Except for the MiG-21 (see point 2). 2/ The "avionics language" in options>gameplay (with choices english or native) that traditionnally (FC3) sets the HUD language for FC3 russian aircraft. => I have it on "native" because I like my Su-27 HUD to be the original one. => The MiG-21 uses this setting for the cockpit tips. I don't like this because I can't read russian well enough for that. Also that prevents MiG-21 to get more languages for cockpit tips. 3/ The new setting "customized cockpit" in options>special for each module/aircraft => Cockpit textures => Tips? Not sure it's planned or sensible... 4/ The coalition in the mission => sets the ATC language Whatever solution is chosen, could you please aim for harmonization between modules on that point? It's a (little) pain in the ass to "have" to go change the avionics language setting each time I switch from my first love Su-27 to your wonderful MiG-21 and back. Thanks!
