  1. Thank you Frederf. Fix for the lights is in command_defs LandingLights_Landing = start_command + 433; LandingLights_Taxi = start_command + 432; LandingLights_Off = start_command + 431; ARU fix is ok. Patch is next OB or one after that...
  2. Fixed, expect the patch on next DCS update.
  3. We're working with ED to improve this - if possible. From our side, we pretty much used every card we had in our sleeves.
  4. Steam release was postponed for "somewhere in February", according to information we have. Reasons are unknown to us. I advise a bit more patience to avoid unnecessary installing 2 versions of the same product (DCS). At the end, good thing is that the aircraft will get few more improvements by the time of Steam release.
  5. There are 2 distinctive inputs already coded in CE2 inputs for keyboard and joystick (see attached image). All you need to do is to map desired joystick input to listed joystick inputs. If you insist of making your own input, insert comma between "value_down = 1.0 value_up = 0.0" so it looks like this: "value_down = 1.0, value_up = 0.0" rendering the final code as: {down = device_commands.Smoke, up = device_commands.Smoke, cockpit_device_id = devices.GENERAL, value_down = 1.0, value_up = 0.0, name = _('Smoke toggle'), category = _('3-pos')},
  6. Interesting idea, if it is possible we will do it.
  7. Please upload mission here.
  8. I don't recommend decreasing the saturation since it decreases joystick output, decreasing the control authority.
  9. CE2 should be available on Steam on/after 23rd JAN this year.
  10. Dead-zones should be set according to the state of joystick (if it "flickers" when left alone in neutral position it will need some dead zones). Here are my recommendation for curvative setup for CE2: Depending on the joystick, curves on pitch and roll should be set between 0 - 15. This mostly depend on the available movement of the joystick. Joysticks that have less than 6 cm movement (measured at the middle of a handle) need ~15 curvative to relieve the player from constant stick position adjustments during flight. For joysticks that have 6 - 10 cm movement, curvative between 10 - 0+ is recommended. For movement greater than 10 cm (e.g. sticks with extension, 13-15 cm movement) curvative is not needed. Curvative is also useful for precision formation flying. In essence, curvative is there for user comfort: set it to best fit your needs. Hope this helps.
  11. Thank you guys. She got out a week earlier so few things slipped out before we uploaded last-minute fixes. We're working to patch her for next week update. Cheers.
  12. Deepest and the most sincere condolences to family, friends and Eagle Dynamics from all M3... No words can describe the loss of Igor, one of rare handful of individuals that enabled the dream of many. We will miss you. Thank you. Rest in peace.
  13. Thank you for clarification Frederf. I'll take a look at the code.
  14. I posted short replay in other topic, but here it is copied Along with that, due to various SFM limitations (such is inabillity to move center of pressure along the medium wing cord and other things), AI aircraft will hardly fly on negative AoA. Particularly precise setup of SFM for AI is not so important as long as SFM closely meets aircraft performances.
  15. Few quick answers: - UUA shows local angle of attack (note local) - F2 view in human module will show you relative pitch angle although it says AoA - local angle of attack is greater than relative pitch angle about 2 times - exact local AoA calculation is implemented in the code The only correct information about local AoA is what UUA shows.
  16. Hello guys. I've extensively checked this bug report today. Unfortunately, I can't reproduce it locally. Assuming the ASO related switches are in proper position, ASO might not work in 2 general cases: - the device itself is not detected properly because the mission is old or DCS version is not updated (repair + update). Old missions are common on some online servers. FIX: Those missions need to be opened in ME, each MiG there checked (payload) and then resaved. - the switches and safety cover positions are not detected properly. FIX: flip the switches and safety cover 2-3 times... If this bug occurs, please save the mission and DCS log files, then upload them to our Mantis. Thank you very much.
  17. Because the love for aviation extends outside strictly military aircraft bounds. DCS is a simulation platform, a powerful one. We strongly believe it could be extended outside its initial military purpose. Together with Eagle Dynamics SA and The Fighter Collection we introduce one beautiful civilian airplane to this world, opening the door for new things to come. We imagine future of DCS as a general world simulating platform where almost anything could be simulated. Our Christen Eagle II is a small step toward that future. We know the Christen Eagle II will find its way into the hearts of many. What matters here is that we bring more choice to DCS, extending and enriching it, making it more accessible to the people within and outside the current community, attracting them to come to DCS and play, and educating them about the reach world of aviation. Limitations are just imaginary. We go beyond. Thank you all so very much.
  18. Dear all, We’ve become concerned about increasing number of crickets here and decided to do something magnitudinal about it. We’ve been a bit absent from this community lately but only for a very good reason. This week we have an important announcement to make. Stay tuned to our forum, site, FB page and YT channel for more info to follow soon! Thanks for your patience, faith, support and help! Truly, M3 (Crickets control department, Teasing division) P.S. Do expect surprises…
  19. Hey guys, just to let you know we did not forget you, we are here, being very very busy (in spite of melting Summer heat on Northern hemisphere...). We are hoping for some good news this September/October, but - as you already know - aviation business is not quite predictable when it comes to schedules for myriads of reasons. Some MiG-21 fixes are also on our schedule: we fixed few issues recently but we had no time to update the the list of fixes. I hope we will do it soon. Anyway, have some fun this summer/winter wherever you are, take some rest, pay a visit here once a week or two. Best regards to all.
  20. Hey guys, we've just uploaded first video to our official YouTube channel. It's something that we promised about a week ago - landing pattern. Check it here Note that you can see English subtitle there, and insert subtitle for your own language. Make sure you follow our channel for more important news, tutorials and other stuff. Cheers! 22. Apr 2017. Hey guys, on your request we reuploaded our first trailer for the DCS: MiG-21bis on YouTube. Take a look: Cheers!
