TomOnSteam Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 (edited) I really love the look of some of these new campaigns, but I only see myself purchasing them if they had some option of change the wingmen to human pilots or add some more human wingmen. In the old campaigns you could easily edit them in the mission editor to do this, but since these are locked by the DRM you cannot. But wouldn't it be great if you could edit the campaign missions once purchased, and everyone else that has bought the campaign could join you? :) I know people say that multiplayer is not a major part of the DCS community, but perhaps if there were more really good missions and campaigns, multiplayer might just become more popular. Also, there are now many planes being released with two or more crew positions in a single aircraft. Looking into the future, there will likely be campaigns for them, and these aircraft will benefit from being able to have several human players in there. Besides all of that, making a campaign co-op multiplayer would likely increase the sales a little bit as is done with many games - if one or two friends buy the campaign, usually a 3rd and 4th friend will also buy in order to be able to join in the fun. Markeebo Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 I wish there was some option for this. I'm COMPLETELY disinterested in Single Player. AI is idiotic and unpredictable and generally ruins the immersion when you have to micromanage every little thing they do. I'll go play TeamFortress or knit a sweater or something.
