Not seen any solutions that were feasible beyond the stages of "Having a go".

 

Leap motion isn't nearly accurate enough to work for the level of detail DCS requires.

 

If you want to get physical then your options are hardware controllers or a touch display with Helios/other software.

Thanks for that Ragtop. I was looking for a solution since I use the Rift almost 80% of my Sim time.

At this point in time I've not seen anything that offers the level of precision that you'd require for this task unfortunately.

 

I'm sure that when the Rift and it's equivalents move to consumer release then this kind of technology will follow. It's a shame that there is such a disconnect between visuals and the physical world when it comes to VR!

I have no idea - I'd be very surprised if it did. With the customer reception I've seen I can't imagine anybody would have taken the time to implement it.

 

You'd probably be better looking for mouse emulation which could in turn work in sim.
