Cobra847 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 (edited) Dear All, Leatherneck Simulations are looking for a talented mission designer with experience in creating missions (SP & MP) and/or Campaigns for the DCS Platform. What You Will Do As a mission designer for Leatherneck Simulations, you will be tasked with the creation of missions and/or campaigns or other mission related content for any announced or unannounced module or theatre in development. Missions and Campaigns shall be strongly influenced by historical events where applicable or projected plans of war. Strong historical or strategical planning knowledge is a plus, and in particular what role aviation had or would play in any given scenario. You shall become proficient in the operation of several in development aircraft in order to better facilitate gameplay of designed missions and content. You shall work closely together with your development lead to craft an interesting, realistic and fun gameplay experience for our customers. Qualifications Strong background in creating missions or campaigns for the DCS World platform. Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in recording and editing mission related sound (Radio, Voice, etc.) Strong knowledge in Strategic and Tactical Military tactics and procedures. Proficient in creation of 2D Mission related content. (Briefing Images, charts, etc.) Basic proficiency in aviation terms and spoken dialogue. Strong independent research skills. Strong knowledge of DCS Mission Scripting. Basic knowledge of .lua or C++ is a plus. Estimated Duration: Per-project, as necessary.
