VTJS17_Fire Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Hi, I tried an ILS landing and it worked perfect. After that, I wanted to test the same approach with the runway overlay. According to the manual, there are some additional steps to the ILS landing: + airfield must selected as waypoint + glideslope and runway heading must be entered in the INS (PCN) I started with the second point, > set the PC mode selector to NAV, > set the PCN operational mode to N > set the PCN parameter selector to CP/PD ... but can't enter date via the num pad. I saw some screenshots from the runway overlay function, so how did you manage to input the neccesary data? Flagrum Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 INS implementation is incomplete atm, no edit possible afaik. But to get the necessary data into the INS, add a "landing"-WP in the ME.
VTJS17_Fire Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 Ah, ok. Will try it. Hardware: Intel i5 4670K | Zalman NPS9900MAX | GeIL 16GB @1333MHz | Asrock Z97 Pro4 | Sapphire Radeon R9 380X Nitro | Samsung SSDs 840 series 120GB & 250 GB | Samsung HD204UI 2TB | be quiet! Cool, thanks, I'll test that tomorrow  I didn't test ILS yet, I think I've been using the wrong frequencies (and to be honest, not much time dig).
Aerovenator Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 But to get the necessary data into the INS, add a "landing"-WP in the ME. Did this yesterday... ILS worked fine including runway overlay.
