DCS A-10C

RWR switch off when starting from runway or parking hot positions is fixed.

Manually entered coordinates of initial positions are working now.

Elevation data for init position added.

Why and when should I manually enter the coordinates and elevation of initial positions?

Could this reduce the time of EGI alignment?

IIRC, that is the way is done on the RL aircraft. At least on the F-16 and F-117, to align the INS/EGI you have to enter the initial coordinates manually.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

The system needs initial coordinates from somewhere. They are either manually entered or pulled of the datacartridge programed during the briefing and plugged in behind you, so afaik its not unrealistic to skip this step since we always have a data cartridge.
