copy any DCS version to another hard disk and uninstall it from previous

I want to explain my "problem":

In the disk C:\ I've installed Version 1.2.16 and OpenAlpha and OpenBeta.

For reasons of disk space, I want to move these three releases on disk D:\ (uninstalling them from disk C:\ of course).

What should I do? I have to uninstall the three releases from disk C:\ and install them on disk D:\ ? I don't want to download again tons of MB for programs and modules, because I own a slow internet line.

Is there a more simple and correct method? Of course, I wish that there are no problems with keys and activations of the modules I've already installed or lose datas from \users\me\Saved Games\.

Thanks for the support and patience.

Just move the DCS installation folder.

The activation keys are stored in the windows registry, but do not depend on the path of the installation directory - so no problem here.

You have to adjust your shortcuts and/or start menu entries of course.

(De-)activation is only necessary if you change your computer's configuration "significantly" - what that exactly means ... there is somewhere a sticky thread that explains it (iirc stuff like new CPU, new windows system hard disk, etc.)
