For the sake of understandability and usability, I'd suggest a change from:

 

Flat terrain shadows

 

to

 

Dynamic (or volumetric or whatever) terrain shadows

 

When the first is activated, shadows are less complex, less quality shadows. That is a bit counter-intuitive, everybody expects to activate options for more complexity, more quality, etc.

Add to the renaming a change to the on/off functionality, so Dynamics terrain shadows ON uses complex shadows, and OFF uses flat shadows.
