Can't load fuel or flare pod on the Mig-21

Hello, guys.

 

I have no idea where to post this thread, so I'll just post it here and hope that I won't get banned for doing that.

 

So today I wanted to play some Mirage vs. Mig-21 on the ACG Jets Server and I quickly noticed that I couldn't load fuel or flare pods on my Mig-21. So I reinstalled the Mig-21 module, but it didn't help.

 

When I'm in the loadout screen, the pod category looks like this.

 

Even if I select a premade loadout, it won't load me the pods.

 

I had this problem with the Su-27 before, but it went away after some time plus there I was able to load the ECM pods by just selecting a premade loadout.

 

My next step will be to reinstall the whole game, but since I have a crappy connection and thus it will take much time, I hope that you know a shorter way to deal with this.

Servers can limit what you can put on your plane. Have you tried it in single player?

reinstalling DCS is in 99% of all cases not necessary. try a "DCS Repair" first.

 

as for the actual problem: afaik it is possible that a server restricts the available loadouts. check that first and/or try a single player mission and see what loadouts you have there.

Yes, it works in Singleplayer.

 

I tried it on the ACG Jets server as well as on the 104th. Both servers allow those pods, because I see people flying with them.

 

I already let Steam run a repair of DCS, but that didn't help.
