Hello yet again,

During a squadron mission last night, it became apparent that the radar was detecting things that weren't really there, or that it was locking onto other radar emitters. For example, in the mission there was an early warning radar on the ground at Kutaisi, which it seemed was being shown on the radar. I've struggled to 100% prove this, but I'm convinced that things are being shown which shouldn't be.

I've got a video i'll upload, but will take some time to process. There seems to be either

1) The bar scans show contacts on each azimuth sweep AND

2) The radar contact has no fading history

giving the appearance of jerkiness

AND/OR

Hits move around the radar scope (shown by soft locking into TWS mode and it jumping around with each sweep)

It's related to multiplayer play too, dont see it so much in SP.

It's very confusing.

jammers also cause contacts "jumping" around, resulting in ghost contacts (not a bug here, more a feature)

The first time I had it (only time I got online), I had those contacts reading Mach 4,5 or 6 closing speed, I thought I was seeing missiles being thrown at me

Well last night we flew Mig21 V M2000

To Ashilta and the rest of the squadron members flying M20000's we were randomly teleporting all over their radar screens in our Migs.

We were not using jammers, so I doubt very much that is the case here.

And lo, Reverend Vegas did say "Take forth unto the infidel the mighty GAU 8 and expend its holy 30MM so that freedom will be brung upon them who knoweth not the joys of BBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTT"

"Amen"
