I know that the CA stands for Combined arms, but the question I have is do I need the CA module to run this campaign? I would rather not have a module that I don't want, but if the only way that I can run this campaign correctly is with the CA module then I'll don't have a problem buy this module.

Yes you need CA, because the Campaign setup had change, example:

4- Removed ground unit radio commands, now is manual through CA.

But you have still the basic Campaign in your folder without CA.

Playing: DCS World

Intel i7-13700KF, 64GB DDR5 @5600MHz, RTX 4080 ZOTAC Trinity, WIN 11 64Bit Prof.

Thank you that's what I needed to know. I'm not a fan of the one without CA as every mission has seemed to be a runway start and I don't really care for those too much.
