jamiemunn5665 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 For those who aren't familiar with VUAF, check out our facebook at http://www.facebook.com/virtualuaf before continuing. 2016 - Q1 Update We have been planning since December for the show and decided to take a break for Christmas and the start of the new year. We are now back to work with several external assets to organize our 5th annual Virtual United Air Festival! Current progress / planning is as follows: - We will be releasing the dates for VUAF 2016 in the coming days. - Within the Q1 of 2016, we will have launched an application center to recruit a staff team to man the airshow over the weekend, as shortage of assistance is always a rising problem and heightened workloads are introduced as we induce the gravity and size of the event. More information is to follow. - A brand new website design is underway, we are hoping to publicize it within the Q1 of 2016. - We are reinventing / designing our logo and looking for alternate possibilities, but also exploring the option to stay with our current logo to correspond with a new color scheme for the 2016 season. - We are reworking our airshow scenery and hope to release last year's rather basic scenery to the public within the Q1 of 2016. - We are beginning work on the annual poster for VUAF. - Work has begun on the annual promotional video for VUAF. - We are in contact with potential sponsors that would open new possibilities to us as a virtual group, allowing us to connect more with the public. As you can tell by reading the above, we are already busy into the new year and plan to continue throughout the coming months. Alongside several other shows that are planned for this season, we expect to headline the airshow season somewhere next to other grand events such as VFAT and are excited for the coming year! Stay tuned, Jamie.
