Amuro Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I have noticed that my MSFF2 now turns itself off when idle. It would turn back on if I launch a game, Steam, etc, but if the game doesn't use joysticks it would it turn off after like 10 seconds; it would stay on in games like DCS, ARMA3, Elite Dangers, War Thunder, X-Wing Alliance and so on, until I quit to desktop. If I press a button on the joystick it would turn on as well and remains on for 15 minutes or so. Does anyone else experiencing this? G00dnight Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I Believe It is MS power saving, It is the same reason the saitek MFD surrounds flash on and off until you change the registry. If you wish too do this you will need the device number should look like - HID\VID_1DD2&PID_1001&REV_0123 then goto regedit and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/ SYSTEM/ CurrentControlSet/ Enum/ USB. Find your VID number click on it and then on the number, SINGLE CLICK Device Parameters. In the right hand window RIGHT CLICK Enhanced Power and select MODIFy then CHANGE VALUE TO 0 and close regedit. ALWAYS MAKE A COPY OF THE REGISTRY AND DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE.
