Performance of DCS 2.0 on a high end rig

Hi guys.

 

My PC specs:

 

4790k OC 4.6ghz ( however I don't OC for DCS)

 

Gtx980ti @1266Mhz

 

16gb ram

 

SSD.

 

I'm able to get 60 steady FPS with maxed out setting on 1080p except above Las Vegas where I get 50-60 FPS( 99% gpu usage)

 

Also my vram is extremely high 5.1 gb when above desert and 5.8 gb above Vegas, I'm nearly vram limited lol.

 

Also it seems that the ground texture is very low res or that there is an issue with the texture loading.

 

Also when pressing F10 and switching to F1 vue, the texture are all blurry and it take time to reload the texture considering I have a SSD.

The vram showing in game seems to be wrong. My vram was showing 15GB. I don't know how its supposed to work but I have a 3GB card and I don't think it would even play if the vram usage was higher than the actual card.
