SgtPappy Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Couldn't find any threads on Raptr turning itself off so I made a new thread. Sorry if it's been covered elsewhere. Can't seem to find the exact problem anywhere else, but when I start DCS, Raptr says it's "turning on" and it manages to do so after a few seconds. Then it works normally, telling me my frame rate and my recording hotkey combo. However, if I enter an MP server, all of that disappears and I cannot turn it on. This obviously leaves me unable to capture my missions as there's no way to reactivate it. Is there any known solution to this?
blkspade Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Are you still running 1.2? I use Raptr but have not had this problem. Certainly not in 1.5 anyway. http://104thphoenix.com/
SgtPappy Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 Yes, I have updated to 1.5. Still stumped.
Darkwolf Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Raptr doesn't work with DCS. It actually caused daily crashs in my DCS. I suggest you take Open Broadcaster, which is light and efficient recorder. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] PC simulator news site. Also....Join the largest DCS community on Facebook :pilotfly:
blkspade Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Raptr absolutely does work with DCS. I know it doesn't seem to pick up the Alpha or Beta game locations, but definitely sees the stable build. There were some problem with 1.2 and MP because there were separate executables, but that is no longer an issue. http://104thphoenix.com/
SgtPappy Posted January 16, 2016 Author Posted January 16, 2016 Perhaps it's a driver thing? I'll see if the guys at the Raptr forums might know and I'll post if I get a solution. In the meantime, if anyone else has a solution, let me know :)
SgtPappy Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 Okay so I'm starting to think it's not just Raptr, but my actual DCS loading sequence. Whenever I join an MP server, I first see the regular loading screen and then the map. After the map, I see the following two screens. The first one is always light blue, as if I'm zoomed into the sea on the map. Raptr is still on (see first attached image). I stare at this screen for about 3 minutes and then this one appears for about 5 seconds (see second attached image) which is when Raptr disappears. After the second screen, I am shown the regular aircraft selection menu at which point Raptr remains off. Are these loading screens normal?
