--Randy-- Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Noob question.....I see where you can press the 1 key and cycle through the different navigation modes, but how do you get the A10 to follow your waypoints? I have looked through the manual and youtube videos and can't seem to find anything on this....it must be too simple for the average DCS flyer, but not for me. Thanks for any help on this.
BaconSarnie Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 It doesnt have the ability to do that unfortunately. --Randy-- Posted January 17, 2016 Author Posted January 17, 2016 OK....thanks Bacon....I was used to hitting LeftAlt +6 in FC2 and it would start following the waypoints. So let me ask you this.....so now how do you follow the waypoints?
BaconSarnie Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I follow the visual cues on the HUD, I fly the A10C though, never touch the FC3 non clickalble aircraft. The only autopilot functions that has, and bear in mind its newer than the A10A, are heading hold, path hold ie climb or dive while on a set heading and then there is altitude hold, where you can put the A10 into an orbit and leave it there. There is no ability for the AP to fly your course for you. --Randy-- Posted January 17, 2016 Author Posted January 17, 2016 Thanks....will have to learn to fly the A10C I guess.
doodenkoff Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I actually enjoy cycling through waypoints with CRTL + ` and using the HSI and HUD indicators to navigate. I find it to be more immersive. Win 10 | i7 4770 @ 3.5GHz | 32GB DDR3 | 6 GB GTX1060
