Charly_Owl Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Hi guys, I tried use the Audio Warning Silence switch (right next to the Emergency Hydraulic switch, front right console) to mute the audio warning sounds when you turn the battery on, but it seems that it has no effect (and has three positions?). Am I missing something? Chuck's DCS Tutorial Library Chuck's Guides on Mudspike Chuck's Youtube Channel Chuck's Patreon
Aginor Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) This bug is still present in the most recent version. Just wanted to mention it. :) EDIT: Or is it working, but differently than I expect? What exactly is it supposed to mute in which position? Edited March 11, 2016 by Aginor DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
nomdeplume Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I believe this is really an audio enable switch. That is, in the default position (down) it is off, so you won't hear any audio warnings. The middle position is on, so you'll hear warnings. The top position is I think the test position, but I'm not entirely sure what it does or if it's implemented yet. So for silence, leave the switch off (=down). At least, that's how it's worked for me since it was implemented.
