Question about the fuel tanks data from DCS manual and from the cockpit...

Hello ;)

Maybe it's not really important but I have a little question for RAZBAM concerning the fuel tanks data from the DCS manual and from the DCS Mirage cockpit.

I don't know why but there's a little difference between the DCS manual and the cockpit data:

From the DCS Mirage 2000C manual:

Mirage 2000C ----> 3159 kg

RP 522 ----> 995 kg

RP 541 ----> 1580 kg

RP 541 x 2 ----> 3160 kg

So:

3159 + 995 = Mirage + 1 RP = 4154 kg

3159 + 3160 = Mirage + 2 RP = 6319 kg

3159 + 4155 = Mirage + 3 RP = 7314 kg

******************************************************

From the reading data from DCS Mirage 2000C cockpit:

Mirage 2000C ----> 3160 kg

RP 522 ----> 1030 kg

RP 541 ----> 1590 kg

RP 541 x 2 ----> 3180 kg

So:

3160 + 1030 = Mirage + 1 RP = 4190 kg

3160 + 3180 = Mirage + 2 RP = 6340 kg

3160 + 4250 = Mirage + 3 RP = 7410 kg

If you have any answer a great thanks in advance, Skull :helpsmilie:

Very likely because we have conflicting data sources.

The RDM manual gives one value but we have some pages taken from another manual, we don't know for which version, that gives other values.

The conflict is mainly on the external tanks, because in one data sheet we have the values in liters and in another in kilograms and yet another in pounds. So we are not sure if they are talking about the same external tank, since they don't indicate tank type. They just call them reservoire pendulaire (external tank), but it seems that there are two types that can be used by the M-2000C.

Eventually we will fix the conflicting data.

Hello Zeus67,

In first I really want to thank you for have make the choice to created this French aircraft because it's not really the most simple module to create.

Many many data and informations are classified secret defence but for me you have win this challenge, of course it's just the beginning of this module and it's really normal to have all these small bugs and problems.

I imagine that many data and information are not available with internet and in this situation it's not easy to create the best Mirage 2000 but it's really really a good start.

Your module is just an Open-Beta and it's a good thing because from all around the world all the users can find bugs, problems and share with you our discovered. It's really exciting, it's a great adventure...

Finally it's a good thing because when your Mirage will be a final release and if everything work fine in few month or few years we will one incredible module, good like A-10C or other great module from ED.

Zeus thanks again for your answer and thanks again for this gift, now with DCS we have one French aircraft, it's a great project.
