Devrim Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 You know we can add modifiers for our controllers, for example pinkie button. But we can also "Switch modifiers" that change the keyboard for a new mode. I wish we had an indicator that located any corner of screen to display which modifier is enabled. For example, I use this feature for commands that are used for starting engine etc. I forget it enabled and that's why some key presses won't response in-flight. :P Is there anyone who uses "switch modifiers"? I hope I'm not the only one. Amarok_73 Posted November 22, 2024 Posted November 22, 2024 Is there any chance that developers will take an interest in this topic? @Devrim described well one of the scenarios in which such functionality would be useful, but another one that comes to mind, because I am a happy owner of a Virpil throttle, which offers encoders with the option of pressing, is of course the ability to display the status of the modifier assigned to the button function in the encoder. At the moment, I rather use a momentary switch (shift), which involves holding the encoder pressed while turning it, and the ability to display the status of the switch-type modifier somewhere on the screen would eliminate the need to use it in the currently accepted way and significantly improve the comfort of working with the device. As the community using such devices is growing, I am sure, that more than just three of us would appreciate such easement.
