Free head tracking

i need help with head tracking.

 

my question:

 

is it possible to use Kinect as an IR tacking device if you make a own IR clip AND does it run smooth. How good is it compared to TrackIR 5?

 

Need any help i can get!

Hi, well, I have no idea.

But I have a kinect, and I'm currently developing a head tracker to use the SDK of kinect.

I'm not sure that it will be very accurate, as even with the sample code given by Microsoft some of the values of the head's rotation keep fluctuating.

But maybe with some adjustments I'll manage to make it smoother.
