132nd Virtual Wing - Recruiting AWACS operators

[NECK]

The 132nd Virtual Wing is looking for dedicated controllers for the 176th Virtual Air Control Squadron - "The Eyes of the North".

 

The 176th consist of both ATC and AWACS operators supporting the 132nd Virtual Wing events.

The squadron supports the the air-to-ground role within 132nd Virtual Wing, and also the air-to-air role for larger combined events.

 

 

For all communications were are running dedicated software (UniversRadio - http://tacnoworld.fr/universradio/) to ensure realistic communications intra-flight, between flights and air controllers as well as between flights and ground units.

 

AWACS controllers will use LotATC (http://www.lotatc.com/) to perform their controller duties.

On a regular basis we host our own combined events with other virtual squadrons/wings running the same realistic setup for conducting operations.
