Laobi Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Hello all, Again I'm not sure if this has been already done to death. I couldn't find very much on the subject and as Saitek don't seem to deem it important to produce a detailed manual I made a quick tutorial on how to make a 2 way switch perform 3 functions. This is useful for the A10C & Blackshark in particular. There are a couple of narration errors due to me burning the candle at both ends last weekend, however, you'll get the idea. Here's the link: [ame] [/ame] Hope this helps a little and happy crashing! Bourrinopathe Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Thanks for the demonstration Laobi. What kind of functions could be used with those latched commands? (I don't fly the A-10C or Ka-50 but I own them both, so it could be really useful) /// ВКБ: GF Pro MkII+MCG Pro/GF MkII+SCG L/Black Mamba MkIII/Gladiator/T-Rudder MkII | X-55 Rhino throttle/Saitek Throttle Quadrant | OpenTrack+UTC /// ZULU +4 /// /// "THE T3ASE": i9 9900K | 64 GB DDR4 | RTX 2080ti OC | 2 TB NVMe SSDs, 1 TB SATA SSD, 12 TB HDDs | Gigabyte DESIGNARE mobo ///
Laobi Posted February 10, 2016 Author Posted February 10, 2016 Hi guys, Thank you for your very kind comments Devrim, I have many happy memories of your country and the people when I used to spend time there often. Bourrinopathe, the types of functions I use it for are things like the Pinky switch in the A10C which is a 3 state switch (forward, middle & Aft). There are a few other switches in the A10c & KA-50 which have 2 states that I don't want to waste a hat on. The other use I program latching for is the landing gears on the Mig 15 & Mig 21 which have 3 distinct states and which bleed air from the braking system if the "neutral" state is not engaged, so instead of using the next switch along for gear neutral a second flip of the gear up or down switch activates neutral. Hope this helps. Bourrinopathe Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Thanks for the details Laobi  I recently used that trick for the L-39C with the flaps (flight/TO/landing positions) and the lights (off/taxi/landing). Very helpful! /// ВКБ: GF Pro MkII+MCG Pro/GF MkII+SCG L/Black Mamba MkIII/Gladiator/T-Rudder MkII | X-55 Rhino throttle/Saitek Throttle Quadrant | OpenTrack+UTC /// ZULU +4 /// /// "THE T3ASE": i9 9900K | 64 GB DDR4 | RTX 2080ti OC | 2 TB NVMe SSDs, 1 TB SATA SSD, 12 TB HDDs | Gigabyte DESIGNARE mobo ///
