Rosko
Hi, I'm fairly new to LOFC, got the GOLD edition and patched, all is working mostly fine. I have three questions, and appreciate the help. 1. In the A-10 campaign, I get in about 5 missions and while loading the next mission, the game quits to desktop. I reload the game and the campaign and get an box that reads: Unknown Error... and doesn't load... I have tried it three times, always same result. Is there anything known about this, or how to fix the supposed Corrupt Gold edition...? 2. Is there anyway to override the graphics settings for the campaigns? 3. I have a 16:10(1.6) ratio screen and while I set the res to 1920x1200, the image is still stretched out, circles are ovals... Anyway to correct for the screen aspect ratio... ( I did look in the graphics file and tried changing the 1.33333 to 1.6, not sure if it's all done right, but no effect. (Could that be because the campaign overrides that too in the graphics?) Thanks again.
Silent Warrior
1. Sounds like you need a new .cmp-file. I absolutely can't help you with that right now, though. 2. Nothing short of declassifying and alter the settings to what you want them to be. You can find instructions in the Bugs-subforum, I believe. 3. I doubt the campaign overrides that, otherwise I have no idea.
Nate Dogg
http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=13573 this is all you need to set it up right. Once you change the 1.3333 to 1.6 it will work as long as you don't go into the graphics setup, if you do it reverts to the default value of 1.3333 very annoying but once your all set up there isn't much need to change the graphics. cheers
Rosko
Thanks... I'll be checking the aspect and FOV soon. Next I'll be looking for a new .cmp file somewhere... Thanks for the help.
