apolloace Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Hi, How do I set up Ground Units in the Mission Editor, so that they do not disperse under fire? :helpsmilie: Rig - I7-9700K/GIGABYTE Z390D/RTX-2080 SUPER/32-GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE RAM/1-TB SSD Mods - A10C / F18C / AV8B / Mig21 / Su33 / SC / F14B
msalama Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 There's a per-group tab in the mission editor somewhere where you can order them not to AFAIR. Sorry, no specifics just now - have just moved houses so kinda busy ATM ;) The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
IonIan11 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Select the unit, click on the 'Triggered Actions' tab (the one that kind of looks like a swirly pound symbol), then click 'Add'. In the box that appears, select 'Set Option' in the 'Type' field, then select 'Dispersal under fire' in the 'Action' field. Then simply uncheck the box next to 'Value'. It all sounds really complicated, but it's actually very self explanatory once you start. If you're just using the units for target practice, there is actually an easier way to get the same result: use the Static Object button on the left instead of the Ground Unit button to place the unit. Now it won't move at all, nor will it shoot; it will act like it's unmanned. Hope this helped! Sent from my Computer using the Internet
