Nerd1000 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Пy - load factor Cy - lift coefficient ARU is the device that automatically adjusts the amount of stabilator deflection based on speed and altitude. A longer arm would imply reduced deflection, I guess?
portman Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Thats the only picture i found in german manual. MiG-21bis in comparison to the MiG-21M Emergency Afterburner - 500m Thats a bit to much i think  Hi Frischi, could you share your german manual please? :):book: I've been searching for a german one for years now. Hummingbird Posted February 21, 2016 Author Posted February 21, 2016 On a sidenote it does seem a little weird that the ingame aircraft doesn't drop a wing upon stalling, when it stalls it instead just sort of locks itself at ~35 deg AoA but is otherwise completely stable in the roll axis. This is the only real gripe I have with the FM atm as I find this quite unrealistic.

Oddly enough I remember that first version of FM when 21 came in simulated this quite nicely, after the FM revision ths effect disappeared. I personaly think the FM is too stable for my liking.
