BUG: ME "Additional Aircraft Properties"-Tab broken

There are bug reports that the Huey and Mi-8 exhaust diffusors can not be toggled by using the respective checkbox at the "Additional Aircraft Properties"-tab in the mission editor.

 

Another case, already reported in the respective forum: the flare gun of the Bf-109 can also not be removed by it's ME tab checkbox.

 

The "Solo Flight" check box of the L-39ZA also does not function (just checked this personally).

 

This seems to indicate that somehow the settings of that ME tab generally are not taken into account anymore in 1.5.3.

Interesting, works just fine on a beta build, but not in 1.5.3. When you hit save the options are reset to default values. No errors occurring in the dcs.log so I'm not sure exactly what is going on.
